DevOps Engineer

> Location Phoenix, AZ (onsite)

> Job Responsibilities:

>

> * Strong sense of ownership, DevOps philosophy oriented

> * Helps developing and implementing DevOps standards and principles.

> * Enhances our award-winning CI/CD automation pipeline and ensure its

> adoption across all development teams at GBT

> * Identifies relevant CI/CD metrics and implements real time

> monitoring, alerting, trending and dashboards

> * Builds credibility and trust by delivering what has been promised

> within established timeframes

> * Has an ‘Automation First” mindset – fundamentally will not

> accept doing things over and over by hand. Responsible for evaluating

> and implementing orchestration, automation, and tooling solutions to

> ensure consistent processes and repetitive tasks are performed with

> the highest level of accuracy and reduced defects

> * Works on migration of developer productivity and application

> lifecycle management tools to the public cloud where applicable

> * Conducts proactive performance tuning and provides recommendations

> for improvement

>

> Qualifications/Experience:

>

> * 3 or more years building, administering, or managing CI/CD

> pipelines, including administering its individual constituent

> components

> * 3 or more years of work experience focused on Jenkins

> * 3 or more years of experience administering an SCM like GitHub and

> an artifact repository like Nexus in the cloud, or on-prem

> * 3 or more years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

> * Should have working knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure,

> AWS, GCP OR private cloud PaaS and Docker

> * Working knowledge of one or more of the popular configuration

> management tools – Ansible, Chef and Puppet

> * Knowledge of concepts such as Canary Pushes/Blue-Green deployments,

> Software Defined Infrastructure, and tools and etc.

> * Excellent written and verbal skills; confidently and professionally

> interacts with internal teams

> * Experience supporting a 24/7 enterprise environment with on-call

> responsibilities for production support

> * Self-starter with excellent organizational, administrative, and

> interpersonal skills

> * Education - Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in related field

> preferred; Relevant industry experience can substitute
